Maintain the Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) data in SAP and document author/review and approval.
Interact with numerous functional areas across the site including Quality Assurance, QC, Global Procurement and Site Technical Services. And frequent interactions with external suppliers of raw materials and components.
Oversee all incoming supplier material change notifications including: identification of impacted parts, initiation of site change control, coordination/completion of inventory assessment and identification and creation of actions required.
Provide backup support to the Materials Planning function as applicable; including material buyer; completion of inventory assessments and document author/review/approval.
Maintain and report performance metrics related to the overall health of the Material Program.
Ensure all changes are closed in the appropriate time frame without impact to the Plan of Record.
Coordinate with cross-functional resources required to support program deliverables and manage timelines in accordance with POR requirements.
Participate and contribute to process improvement initiatives within Supply Chain and across the Materials Program as part of continuous improvement.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech manufacturing industry, preferable in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Quality.
Strong oral and written communication skills.

Strong SAP background
Material buying experience
Project Management experience preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of cGMP and industry standards.
Proficiency with computer systems (Microsoft Office applications, QTS – Trackwise).
