  • Manages operational efficiency for the clinical research business by understanding the business model, demonstrated ability to work across the systems and processes that are required to support the clinical development program for the Research Unit.
  • Provides administrative support to a Vice President, Early Development Immuno-Oncology.
  • Responsible to provide administrative support to the VP, Early Development Immuno-Oncology.
  • Support the VP, Early Development Immuno-Oncology with local site head activities and be aligned across the global organization with consistent messaging
  • Responsible for leading organizational projects that support the clinical team members at the site
  • Responsible for contributing to the organizational planning and execution
  • Responsible for leading implementation operational initiatives in support of the site
  • Responsible for leading improvement of operational systems, processes and policies to increase overall operational efficiency within budget and according to plan
  • Responsible for increasing the efficiency of support services through improvements at the local site
  • Lead efforts to partner with other groups to implement initiatives
  • Identify and lead projects that contribute to operational excellence
  • Be aligned administratively across the department and global alignment across multiple sites
  • Responsible for the growth and development of clinical research Administrative team members
  • Responsible for adherence to ICH/GCP and SOP compliance
Skills: Qualifications
  • BA/BS and demonstrated experience in the drug development area
  • Minimum: Bachelors (or associates) with 10+ yrs demonstrated experience working at C level-supporting VP's + prefer Pharma/Medical industry experience
  • Knowledge about how organizations work across large companies/pharma
  • Knows how to get things done through formal and informal channels and informal networks
  • Understands the cultures of organizations
  • Strong interpersonal skill set and ability to relate well to all kinds of people across the organization and external
  • Able to build appropriate rapport, constructive and effective relationships and able to use diplomacy and tact
  • Communication Skills
  • Drug Development Skills – understands and demonstrates ability to work in a clinical environment; understanding and adherence to GCP, SOP and best practices
  • Ability to pull together concepts and data as they relate to clinical development
  • Knowledgeable in current and possible policies, practices, trends and developments affecting our business and organization.
  • Empowered to make observations and recommendations to establish a more efficient working environment.
  • Requires demonstrated experience in the infrastructure of systems and processes that support clinical development
  • Strong communicator and demonstrated organizational effectiveness
