Construction includes all structures and improvements in accordance with approved drawings and specifications, required site work, paving, concrete, masonry, structural steel, carpentry, millwork, insulation, roofing, glazing, doors, hardware, finishes, mechanical and electrical work.
Managing the submittal review process including maintaining submittal logs for shop drawings, Architectural Request for Information (RFI), Project Change Orders, Product Sample, etc. and recording all submittals received from the Owner's contractors.
Processing and review of shop drawings and product data
Responding to architectural Requests For Information (RFIs)
Conducting site visits to the various project sites to confirm that the construction, fabrications and assemblies are as per the shop drawings, design intent and the Owner's project requirements.
Other duties/tasks related to construction administration of the major projects.
Architectural services related to major construction projects, as directed by the Owner.
Owner shall provide Consultant's onsite office.
A Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
Over 3 years' experience in facilities design and construction administration.
Licensed Architect desirable but not required.
LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP BD+C)
Understanding of building codes, specifications, and other project documentation
Flexibility and ability to respond quickly
Able to multitask and work in a team
Able to work independently and with minimal instruction
Proficient in Microsoft office, AutoCAD, Revit, PowerPoint
All work shall be performed in a workman like manner and in accordance with all local, state, and federal codes.
