Description: Job Description
  • Provide technical support to projects utilizing laboratory scale processing techniques with supporting analytics.
  • Operate RP4 process equipment and supporting “in-process” lab tests (including supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment).
  • Developing and maintaining operating procedures, equipment calibration, maintenance, reporting templates and GMP procedures.
  • Maintain EH&S requirements.
  • Collate and analyze trial data.
  • Co-ordinate testing; preparing and submitting samples for internal/external analysis.
  • Execute RP4 activities supporting where necessary complex product/process problem troubleshooting efforts within ANSC and TPM operations.
Skills: Qualifications
  • B.S. in Engineering (chemical preferred), Food Chemistry, or Food Science.
  • Interest in or knowledge of the impact of processing parameters on ingredient functionality and finished product quality
  • Knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques and food science is preferred
  • Practical approach to planning and executing trials/tests efficiently
  • Knowledge of RCA techniques and ability to interpret data / relationship to manufacturing scenarios
  • Disciplined and adaptable to work on a variety of projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on cross functional teams and interface effectively
  • Ability to effectively analyze and summarize process and product information (using statistical methods) to determine solutions to production and quality issues.
  • Background or experience in DOE.
  • Preferred computer skills include MS Office applications, AutoCad, OSI PI Processbook, Qualtrend, LIMS, QDMS, Minitab or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with GMP standards for quality desired.
