  • Simplifies complex products and user flows and makes them accessible, beneficial, intuitive, and easy to use products and product interfaces.
  • Teams up with the various product managers, engineers, and product designers form the beginning of the product’s life cycle to the end.
  • Takes part in the ideation and designing of breakthrough consumer experiences and innovative solutions through the business product.
  • Collaborates with product developers and product designers to develop innovative experiences that suit each and every faction of the consumer base.
  • Create compelling interfaces that seamlessly marry the visual design aspect of a site or app with functionality and usability.
  • Making complex systems intuitive and valuable.
  • Analytical and conceptual thinkers that translate user needs, business objectives and technology capabilities into innovative design.
  • Leading all aspects of the design process from customer research utilizing qualitative and quantitative methods, conceptualizing, storyboarding, detailed design and working with engineering teams on executing designs.
  • Take ownership of a domain to envision and craft conceptual frameworks, interaction design and the overall user experience of new products and major enhancements that recommends design patterns for our engineers/technologists to follow. This enables the ability to test solutions in real-time and instantaneously deliver software to customers.
Skills: Requirements
  • Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Information Architecture, Visual Communication, or any design-related field.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is a bonus
  • Should have information architecture and interaction design knowledge.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in several of the following: designing complex user workflow's, decision-support systems, large dataset visualization's and framework level interactions, information architecture, graphic/visual design, usability research/analysis
  • Ability to design, conduct and execute user research utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Track record of applying common User-Centered Design practices and tools to solve tough design problems
  • Understanding of workflow systems, software development processes, and command center monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with Agile and Lean UX methodologies
  • Familiarity with designing across multiple platforms (desktop applications, mobile, web, etc.)
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strongly familiar with building applications in Angular JS or React.
  • Ability to learn quickly and formulate immediate solutions for product improvements and enhancements.
  • A high level of creativity and fast adaptability to come up with prompt solutions and product approaches that guarantee constant consumer satisfaction in a volatile marketplace.
  • Excellent communication skills since the position demands a great deal of interaction with, product development and design departments as well as the consumers.
  • Demonstrates exceptional people skills for the purpose of ensuring that all interactions necessary for the performance of the role’s functions are carried out smoothly.
  • Passion and readiness to collaborate with other key creative persons in the business in order to come up with the best product approaches and solutions for the product regarding consumer experience.
  • A technical/engineer type with an aptitude for design
  • A strong foundation in user centered design methods and the ability to communicate design decisions effectively to senior stakeholders and colleagues.
